MAINLY-MEXICAN > Calixto Santiagois part of a larger family of wood carvers in La Union, Oaxaca.  His daughter (in yellow shirt) walked with us from house to house and convinced us to come here to her house to see her Dad's work.  We bought a 3-animal marimba band plus a musical turkey and rooster from them. (8/2003)

MAINLY-MEXICAN > This is the view approaching the home of well known wood carver, Martin Santiago in La Union, Oaxaca. MAINLY-MEXICAN > Woodcarver, Zeny Fuentes, of Arrazola, Oaxaca - (8/2003) - he is the son of "Great Master" Epifanio Fuentes who was also there that day.
