Oaxaca Mexico as photographed by an Amigo member.
This is the view approaching the home of well known wood carver, Martin Santiago in La Union, Oaxaca. Women were sweeping the dirt in the yard with twig brooms, the cow was tied to the tree, the chickens were in the flowers, the wood was stacked neatly and covered and the 2 or 3 buildings were wooden planks which could be seen through. 8/2003 - For more information, see "Mexican Folk Art from Oaxacan Artist Families," page 104-105
